I want to send out a big thank you to the thousands of clients who have continued to purchase my primitives over these last 15+ years! It was an amazing journey that started from my home near Cave Creek, KY in 2010. I created one little brown primitive pig and a few other items, named my shop Cave Creek Primitives - and never looked back. Starting in 2012, I was honored to have my creations appear in several issues of PRIMS Magazine.

There were a few bumps in the road and I relocated to FL permanently, and not long after, thought it was best to retire from making prims. I sold my Cave Creek name and some designs to another. Retirement didn't stick - so I changed my shop name to Ragamuffin Prims, dusted off my original pattern templates - and pushed on for several more years. But now - after hard-stuffing thousands of primitives, my hands say no more. So....we're continuing on again in a slightly different way - offering items that do not require hard stuffing, and limiting finished primitives to the smaller items.

This remodeled Ragamuffin Mercantile offers a collection of primitive greeting cards, handmade fabric bags and totes, destash supplies from 15+ years of making primitives, select patterns for my former original prim dolls and animals - and finished ornaments and bowl fillers. I'm working as fast as I can to get the shop stocked!

Greeting cards feature primitive folk art designs that I create and print in my home studio. The bags and totes are also handmade by me, drawing from my collection of primitive design fabrics. These are practical, well-made pieces designed for everyday use, market trips, or carrying creative projects — simple goods made to be used and enjoyed over time.
